George and Martha engage in dangerous emotional games. George is an associate professor of history and Martha is the daughter of the president of the college. After they return home from a college faculty party at 2am George and Martha are intoxicated but that won’t stop them from entertaining two guests, the college’s new Biology professor and his “mousy” wife. What follows is the world’s most awkward and volatile social engagement as George and Martha begin exposing the dysfunction of their own marriage.
