The Memory of Water
by Shelagh Stephenson
Directed by Carla Moore

April 9th - May 1st
Winner of the 1996 Olivier Award for Best Comedy, Shelagh Stephenson’s The Memory of Water is a poignant, painfully funny look at life, loss, and the fragility of shared history. Reunited in their mother’s bedroom before her funeral, three sisters—Mary, Catherine, and Teresa—clash over a past they can’t agree on. Amidst disputed bicycles, midnight treats, and their mum’s lingering perfume, sibling warfare erupts. Bound by sisterly love, fierce arguments, and unexpected laughter, this bittersweet comedy beautifully challenges how we choose to remember and asks why do past recollections continue to haunt us, and where does truth end and family mythology begin.
Saturday and Sunday performances are 4pm matinees.
All other performances at 8pm
